2010 AUCD Awards Nominations
Your help is needed to identify greatness. We know that the individuals and groups of the AUCD Network accomplish magnificent feats each year. The presentation of AUCD Awards is our opportunity to acknowledge some of our best during our annual Awards Ceremony and Gala on Tuesday, November 2. Nominate a deserving individual or program today! Deadline: August 27.
A core function of University Centers for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDDs) is to offer community service activities that include community education and technical assistance for or with individuals with developmental disabilities, their family members, professionals, paraprofessionals, students and volunteers.
Mission
The National Community Education Directors' Council was established to:
- Serve as a focus and forum for the identification and discussion of issues of community education and technical assistance.
- Function as a representative voice of community education interests and concerns within the UCEDD network.
- Influence the development and implementation of national community education policies and initiatives.
- Share resources and exemplary community education programs developed and used by UCEDDs across the nation.
