• LEND Brochure 2008

  Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities (LEND) programs were developed by the Health Resources and Services Administration's Maternal and Child Health Bureau to achieve a vision for the 21st century that, "All children, youth, and families will live and thrive in healthy communities served by a quality workforce that helps assure their health and well being." This brochure describes the LEND program and it's highlights in interdisciplinary leadership training, faculty and trainees, and network activities.

• Leadership Development Through Interdisciplinary Training

  This brochure describes MCH Training Programs and their mission of interdisciplinary leadership training.

• LEND Self Assesment and Evaluation

  The LEND Self Assessment was created to provide programs a guided process and suggested structure to reflect upon and self assess their LEND training program so they can identify program strengths and areas in need of enhancement.

  Seven components comprise the curriculum which enables it to be presented all at once in a 1-day program, individually as shorter training modules or separate sessions at local, naturally occurring meetings. Each component is available in faculty and participant versions, and has appendix items that supplement its topic area.

The MCH population includes all America's pregnant women, infants, children, adolescents, and their families-including women of reproductive age, fathers, and children with special health care needs.
